Susan Petrellis is a non-executive director and advisor with deep experience in innovation system and economic development across public and private sector research, start-up and multinational industry, and state, federal and international governments.
She has worked across emerging and mature sectors, primarily in advanced manufacturing, agrifood and bio/deep/med tech, in commercialisation, industry development, skills, training and investment. This has included system advisory and/or governance with Innovation Australia, Innovation and Science Australia, Rural Development Corporations, NCRIS public research facilities, advanced manufacturing Joint Skills Councils, medical and manufacturing innovation precincts, biosecurity NGOs and professional services firms.
Susan is currently Founder and Managing Director of innovation advisory firm, Bounce Partners. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Macquarie), Master of Business Administration (Macquarie Business School) and human centred design (IDEO), is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a fellow of the Governance institute of Australia.
