The Ralph Slatyer Address on Science and Society is named in honour of Australia’s first Chief Scientist and is presented annually by Cooperative Research Australia in honour of Professor Slatyer’s role in the creation of Cooperative Research Centres and his outstanding contribution to Australian science and society.
