Glenn Keys AO

Glenn is the founder and Executive Chairman of Aspen Medical, one of the world’s leading providers of outsourced healthcare solutions.

 

Prior to building and leading businesses in the private sector, Glenn had a distinguished career in the Australian Defence Force (ADF). His service saw him undertake a range of tasks from training to test flying and engineering to logistics support for Army aircraft.

 

Glenn is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and the International Test Pilots School in the UK. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia.

 

Glenn sits on a number of Boards including Invictus Australia, the Australian War Memorial, and Project Independence. Project Independence is a not-for-profit that Glenn founded in 2012 to provide homeownership for people with an intellectual disability and is the only homeownership programme of its kind.

 

In January 2022 the Minister for Foreign Affairs appointed Glenn to the position of Chairman of the Board on the Australia ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Council.

 

Glenn founded Aspen Medical in 2003. After 20 years Aspen Medical has a team of over 6,500 and operates across 21 countries including, the USA, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East, Africa, and Australasia. Today the company has customers in the Government, Defence, Mining, Oil & Gas and Humanitarian sectors. In 2017, Glenn was the runner-up at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year. That same year, Glenn was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for both his philanthropic leadership in the business sector and his work as an advocate for people with an intellectual disability.

 

A passionate advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Glenn has placed social responsibility and community involvement at the heart of Aspen Medical’s culture.
